Sex Stories Sites (5)Sexual Stories Review
A reading site, not a watching site
Sexual Stories is one of those places you visit with a coffee rather than headphones. It’s a straightforward WordPress blog: the title Quality Sex Stories and Erotic Novels in steel-blue capitals, a tagline promising “adult fantasies, pornstories, and dirty novels”, and a main column of story cards, each topped with a bright yellow date badge. A search box sits alone in the right sidebar. There’s barely an image on the page, which is a relief if you came here to read.
What’s being written
Every card shows a headline, a few lines of the opening and a long trail of categories and tags. The first few I saw ranged from a military police officer’s late-night shift to a man’s birthday reprieve from a strict mistress, a swingers’ “fucking for fun club”, and a diary-style piece about being the other woman. Tags give a good sense of the range: BDSM, Cuckold, Threesome, Female Domination, Exhibitionism, Romance, True Story and, nicely, Written by women. Some stories are tagged Consensual Sex, which I’d love to see used more consistently.
Be warned that this site leans kinky. The meta description openly advertises fringe and bizarre fetishes, and the menu has a whole Taboo Sex Stories A to Z section. If you want sweet, vanilla erotica, you’ll be picking through a lot to find it.
Writing quality is mixed, as on any free story archive. A couple of openings read like proper short fiction with scene-setting and character. Others jump straight in with clunky grammar. Updates are frequent, though: the homepage showed fresh posts on almost every day from late October to November 7, sometimes two a day.
Finding your way around
The top menu covers Sex Stories, Erotic Novels A to Z, Swinging Couples, Orgies, Taboo Sex Stories A to Z, then Porn Shorts, Sex Games and Celeb 18+. Those last three have nothing to do with reading, and I stuck to the story sections. The sidebar adds a categories list, a Comments on Stories feed and an archive. Search works, but tagging is inconsistent (one post is tagged with names of other story sites), so clicking a category usually beats typing.
Speed and ads
Text pages are light, and the site felt reasonably quick, with pages loading at a steady pace. It reflows fine on a phone, and the single-column layout is comfortable for reading on a small screen.
The ads are the real problem. My scan found ExoClick and MagSrv code along with popunder and window-open scripts, so expect a new tab to sneak open when you click a story. There’s also a big ad slot in the sidebar. For a site that could be beautifully calm, it’s a shame.
Is it worth bookmarking?
For fans of kinky written erotica who want something new nearly every day, yes, with an ad blocker switched on. The layout is plain, the writing varies and the popunders are annoying. But the archive is active, the categories are clear, and reading it costs nothing.
