Adam & Eve has been around since 1971, and the homepage feels like it: there’s a phone number in the top-left corner (1-800-765-2326), links for Order Status, Shipping, Returns and Need Help, and a live Chat button pinned to the bottom right. It’s less “adult site” and more mainstream retailer that happens to sell vibrators. If you want a shop that feels safe to order from on your first try, this is probably the one.

Finding things

A wide search bar sits front and center with the hint “vibrators, rose, lube”, and it’s the fastest way around. Below it, the main menu covers For Women, For Men, For Couples, Vibrators, Bondage, Lingerie, Lubes & Wellness and Sale. The dropdowns go deep, with entries for sex machines, Ben Wa balls, bath and body products, masturbators and penis rings, plus a holiday gift section split by Her, Him, Couples, Stocking Stuffers and Under $25.

I also liked the Frequently Asked Questions block at the bottom of the homepage. It answers beginner questions like how to pick a vibrator, which lube to use and how to clean toys, and there’s a section introducing the brand’s resident sex therapist, Dr. Jenni Skyler. Nice touch for nervous first-timers.

Prices and the never-ending sale

Almost everything in Today’s Best Sellers is marked 50% off with code. The house lube drops to $9-10, a wand massager to $47.24, a petite wand to $27.50 and a realistic dildo to $20-25. Discounts this permanent make the “original” prices feel a bit theoretical, but the sale prices themselves are fair. Free standard shipping kicks in at $69 with code 69SHIP, and you can split payments with Klarna or PayPal.

Here’s something I actually respect: the ratings aren’t all perfect. One own-brand toy sits at 2.8 stars and another at 3.1, right there on the homepage. That tells me the reviews aren’t scrubbed.

Design and speed

Clean white layout, Open Sans throughout, a red search button as the main accent. Large banner tiles make the top of the page airy, if a little generic. It’s responsive and works well on a phone. Speed is the weak spot: the homepage felt slow to fully settle, and with 19 third-party hosts loading (Taboola, StackAdapt, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest and Facebook pixels, plus a OneTrust cookie manager) that’s not surprising.

Ads and privacy

No pop-ups or ad banners hit me while browsing, just a “Unlock your mystery deal” email sign-up near the footer. The tracking load, though, is heavy for a store selling private products. Accept only essential cookies in the OneTrust banner and you cut a lot of that out.

Verdict from the shadows

Adam & Eve is the safe, grown-up choice: big catalog, real support, honest-looking reviews and a generous return window. It isn’t the cheapest for niche gear and the page is weighed down by marketing pixels. For a first toy or a gift, though, it’s hard to beat.
