Thumbzilla Review

The family resemblance

Thumbzilla belongs to the same network as Pornhub, and once you notice the image servers and the TrafficJunky ad code, you can’t unsee it. What it offers is the same giant catalogue in a different wrapper: lighter, roomier and built around big video cards instead of a tight thumbnail wall. Think of it as Pornhub with the furniture rearranged.

First click, first hurdles

You start with an I am 18 or older gate, and then a white cookie banner sits along the bottom of the screen with a big Manage Cookies button until you deal with it. The header is a dark strip with a hamburger menu on the left, a rounded search bar in the middle and a teal AI JERK OFF button that is very keen to be clicked. Below that: Porn Videos, Categories, Live Sex, Brazzers 4K and Pornstars.

What’s actually playing

The strength here is official content. The Most Recent Videos feed is dominated by studio channels, and each card names both the studio and the performers, with a small verified tick beside the names. On my visit the feed was a run of LetsDoeIt, Fake Taxi, Fake Hostel, Massage Rooms, Dane Jones, Brazzers, Vixen, Reality Kings and BangBros uploads. Plenty of those run about 15 minutes, which usually means a promo cut, while a few were full 40-minute scenes. So it’s well-produced material, but often a sampler rather than the whole thing.

Above the feed, a row of rounded tag pills shows what people are searching right now, and the category menu covers all the big names plus a Step Fantasy section and a College (18+) one. A Watch It Again row remembers what you’ve viewed, and the sort dropdown switches between views, newest and longest. You can make an account, but you don’t need one to watch.

Design and feel

The page is light grey with white cards and teal accents, and it feels calmer than most free tubes. Titles are readable, cards are big, and performers are linked right on the card. It’s responsive and works properly on a phone, which is no surprise from this network. My only design complaint is the right-hand column, which is almost entirely one large ad.

Speed

It loads at a respectable pace and video cards fill in smoothly. The sheer weight of ad and tracking scripts slows it slightly compared with a bare-bones tube, but it never felt sluggish.

Ads: brace yourself

This is the weak spot. The scan found TrafficJunky, ExoClick and DoubleClick code plus popunder scripts. Between the sidebar ad, the AI button, the Live Sex tab and the odd new tab after a click, you’re being sold to constantly. An ad blocker makes a big difference here.

The Ninja’s call

Thumbzilla is a good way to browse big-studio uploads with less visual clutter than its famous sibling. The content is legit and well labelled. The ads are not subtle, so go in prepared.
