Popular Porn Blogs (5)Phun.org Review
A time capsule that still updates
Loading Phun.org feels like opening a website from the early 2000s that nobody told to stop. Pale blue panels with little pixel-font title bars, Tahoma text, a three-column layout with Latest Threads, Navigation and Friends on the left and Supporting Sites and Weekly Thongs on the right. And yet the newest post was from the night before my visit. This thing is alive.
How the daily posts work
The backbone of the site is a running series called Quick One, posted by a regular editor named cayne. The one I read was number MMCCCXVI (yes, Roman numerals, that’s 2,316), which tells you how long this has been going. Each post is a list of short one-liners, each with a link: a car-crash clip, a street fight, an artist at work, a random cute moment, and every few lines a link to an adult scene or a photo set. The tone is blokey and jokey, like a mate forwarding you his browser history. Some lines made me laugh. Some made me wince.
Other posts are themed galleries. The latest was Girls With Tan Lines, with a short intro and an “Enter Gallery” link.
The rest of the menu
The navigation panel is where the regulars go: Forum, Thong Of The Week (with its own archive), Funny Pictures, Saturday Babes, Phun Updates and Quick ‘n Dirrty. Under Specials you’ll find themed sets like Fit Girls #5, Pornstars without make-up and Lineups. There’s also a Fansigns page, a Movies section and a few named model galleries. It’s more pinup and glamour than hardcore, with the hardcore mostly arriving through outbound links.
Design and phones
No sugar-coating: it’s dated. The blurry blue background, tiny serif links and boxed widgets look like a forum skin from 2004. There’s no mobile viewport tag either, so on a phone you get the full desktop page shrunk down and lots of pinch-zooming. On a desktop it’s readable enough, and there’s a weird charm to it.
Speed and ads
It loads at an average pace. The page is mostly text and small thumbnails, so nothing heavy drags it down. Ads are light. My scan found an AdsBookie slot and a handful of trackers, but no popups or popunders. The bigger “ad” is the wall of partner links: the Friends and Supporting Sites boxes are long lists of AI chat tools, cam sites, discount sites and other blogs, and a few of them aren’t places I’d send anyone. Keep your clicks inside the daily posts and you’ll be fine.
Ninja’s final word
Phun.org is for people who miss the old “funny links of the day” blogs and like their humor mixed with pinups. If you want a modern tube or anything that works nicely on a phone, keep walking. If you want a daily dose of fails, fights and tan lines from a site with real history, it still delivers.
