No bullshit, as promised

PicHunter’s tagline sits right under the page title in small grey text: no bullshit – just free porn. After a good poke around, I’d say it mostly lives up to that. You enter through a simple ENTER, I am over 18 gate, and then you’re on a white page with a bold red navigation bar and a masonry wall of photo tiles, each with a little tag label in the corner and a gallery count in the bottom right.

Browsing by tag

That masonry wall is the homepage, and it’s a tag index rather than a feed of new uploads. Labels like Hardcore (42,356), Pornstar (48,133), Natural Boobs (34,781), Tattoo (32,994), MILF (33,381), Blonde (32,379) and Lingerie (14,037) give you a rough idea of how deep each pile goes. Smaller tags such as High Heels, Glasses, Stockings, Redhead or Curvy still run into the thousands. There’s even a shorts tile with a few thousand entries. The tag pages go on for 229 pages, so you’re not going to run out.

For a more targeted hunt, the red menu bar has Categories, Pornstars, Studios and Creators, and the search box sits right at the top. Browsing by studio is a nice touch most picture sites skip. If you like a particular production company’s photo sets, you can stick to them.

Member perks

A free account adds private albums for the photos you like, comments, discussions and voting for favourite pornstars. The site makes a point of saying it doesn’t spam members’ email addresses, which is a small thing but appreciated. You absolutely don’t need to sign up to browse, though.

Look, feel and speed

The layout is clean apart from one thing: under the main red menu there’s a second, darker red bar crammed with partner links (Porn Blog, NSFW Reddit, Best Porn Deals, CamBB, Porn Discounts, Chat Sex, Eporner, NudeCams.xxx). The main menu itself also carries Live Girls, Local Dates and XXX TikTok links. It’s a lot of signposts leading off-site. Otherwise the Lato and Montserrat type is crisp, there’s a lightbulb icon in the header that looks like a light/dark switch, and the masonry grid scales down nicely on a phone. Pages fill in at a decent pace, not lightning fast, but the tiles load without stutter.

Ads and privacy

Ads are light. My scan found one small ad delivery host and a share-button script, plus Google analytics and Cloudflare. No popunder code and no popups on load. What I really liked is the cookie banner in the bottom corner. Instead of the usual giant Accept button, it gives you three equal choices: Accept all, Accept non-essential and Decline all. More sites should do this. Ninja tip: hit Decline all and nothing breaks.

Who will like it

If you browse photo sets by mood, body type or studio, PicHunter is a tidy, honest place to do it, with big tag counts and almost no ad friction. The partner-link bar is clutter you’ll learn to ignore. If you want a feed of what’s new today, you’ll have to dig a little, since the homepage is all tags.
