No tour, no teaser grid, no welcome page. Type in africancasting.com and you land directly on a page titled Complete Your Purchase!. On the left there’s a big blurred hero with the line “How far would she go for the job?” in white and orange capitals. On the right sits a neat three-step sign-up form. Across the top, an orange Halloween Sale banner counts down the hours. It’s a bold move to skip the shop window entirely, and it tells you this site lives on returning fans and affiliate traffic rather than curious browsers.

What’s actually on offer

The format is casting-style: each scene is built around an interview and audition setup, filmed as one continuous piece. The bullet list spells it out: All 150+ interviews, “every casting since 2008”, and every scene uncut, covering “the interview, the audition, the job”. A line at the bottom claims 2.8 billion+ views, which presumably counts clips shared across the web over many years. All performers are stated to be 18+.

To be clear, the “job interview” premise is staged roleplay, the same formula plenty of casting studios use. Some people enjoy the documentary feel; others find the setup uncomfortable. You’ll know which camp you’re in.

150-plus scenes over nearly two decades isn’t a big library, and the page doesn’t say how often new ones arrive. Think of it as a niche archive rather than a busy studio.

What it costs

This is the rare paysite that shows prices up front, so credit where it’s due. With the sale running, the options were:

• 30 days, billed as $14.95 (shown as 62.5% off)
• 180 days, billed as $59.70 (75% off)
• 365 days, billed as $99.95, pre-selected and tagged “Best Deal”

Note that the yearly plan is ticked by default, so make sure you pick the one you actually want. You can pay by credit card or PayPal, and the footer lists Centrobill, Epoch, Segpay and Titan Billing as billers. The page promises instant access and cancel any time, with no lock-in. Prices and the sale may change, so check the form on the day.

Design and speed

The checkout is genuinely well made: a near-black background, cream text, orange accents and tall Oswald headings. It’s clear, modern and works on a phone. It took a few seconds to fully appear on my connection, mostly because of the large hero image, but there’s not much on the page to slow it down beyond that.

Ads and privacy

No ads, no popups. The only outside services were Google Fonts and Google Tag Manager. The company behind it is listed in the footer as a Cyprus-registered firm, alongside links for content removal and reporting.

The Ninja’s take

African Casting is a small, older casting archive with a slick, honest checkout that shows prices before you hand over anything. The lack of any preview, the modest scene count and the pre-ticked yearly plan are the downsides. If you already know the series, it’s an easy, clean purchase. If you don’t, find some sample clips elsewhere first.
