Grooby Girls Review

The old guard of trans porn, still updating

Some sites tell you they’re a legend. Grooby Girls just puts the numbers in a strip across the top of the tour: 2,481 models, 7,626 videos and 1,004,040 photos. That’s not a typo on the photos. The site has been running since 1996, and a big blue banner on the homepage calls it the world’s longest running trans adult website. Having spent a while clicking around, I don’t have a reason to argue.

Getting in is easy. A white age-check box pops up first with a big green I’m 18 or older – Enter button, and once you’re past it you land on a dark, busy tour page with a slider of featured scenes and a Preview this scene now link.

How fresh is it, really?

Fresh. The Latest Updates section had a new scene for every single day I looked at: one on the 6th, one on the 5th, the 4th, the 3rd, and so on. Each card shows the runtime and photo count side by side, things like 15:07 HD video and 132 photos or 28:44 HD video and 179 photos, plus a member rating out of five. Most scenes I saw sat between 15 and 30 minutes, which is about right for a solo-heavy site.

The Updates menu splits into All Scenes, Solo Scenes and Hardcore Scenes, so you can skip straight to whichever side you prefer. Solo shoots are the house speciality here: casual outfits, poolside sets, lingerie, and a short write-up for each model with where she’s from. The Featured Models row on my visit included Eris Jolie, Valarie Rose, Angel Sammi, Kawaii Jess and Avery Lust, and the site claims every model is exclusive and scouted by the team.

Extras that matter if you collect

Photo people get looked after. There’s a zip file for every photoset, which saves a lot of right-clicking, and video streams in Full HD or 4K. The tour also promises personal customer support and says it works on any device. The page is responsive, and a search box sits up in the header so you can hunt by model name.

Design: functional, a bit crowded

Honestly, the look is the weakest part. The tour mixes four different fonts, a dark header, a bright blue banner, grey panels and green buttons, and it feels like a site that has been added to for years rather than redesigned. Nothing is broken, it just isn’t elegant. On the other hand you always know where the Join and Login buttons are.

Speed and ads

It’s not quick. The homepage pulls in a lot of thumbnails and preview clips, and it took noticeably longer to settle than most paysites I test. Once it’s loaded, moving between pages is fine. There are no banner ads or popups to speak of, which is what you’d expect from a paid site. The only extras are newsletter and analytics scripts, plus cross-promotion for other Grooby network sites.

What it costs

Grooby Girls is a membership site. The tour mentions monthly billing but didn’t show a price on the page I saw, so check the join page for current offers before you sign up.

The Ninja’s take

If trans adult content is your thing, this is one of the first memberships to look at. The archive is enormous, updates land daily, and the solo work is consistent. You’ll forgive the cluttered design pretty quickly once you start digging through 30 years of shoots. Consider this one quietly approved.
