Big buttons, no fuss

ILikeComix has one of the simplest front pages I’ve seen on a comics site. Under a blurred banner there’s a single line of text boasting over 26,000 porn comics and daily updates, then a grey bar with six shelves: Front Page, 3D Comics, Hentai Comics, Interracial, Furry and Western. Below that come five chunky lime-green buttons (New Comics-Updated, Show All Porn Comics, Tags & Artists, Top Rated, Most Viewed) and a full-width Search Comics box outlined in green. That’s basically the whole lobby.

The dark charcoal background with bright green buttons is not pretty, but it’s very clear. Nobody is going to get lost here. The font is plain old Trebuchet, which gives the site a slightly early-2010s feel.

The collection

I’ll keep this part honest: the homepage the scanner landed on is mostly navigation, so I couldn’t see individual titles or check the quality of the uploads from the front page alone. What I can say is that the shelves cover the usual comic-site range, from 3D renders to Japanese-style hentai to Western cartoon comics and furry art, and the welcome text also mentions manga and MILF stories. The 26,000 figure is the site’s own claim. If it’s close to accurate, it’s one of the larger free archives around.

For finding things, Tags & Artists and Top Rated are your friends. Comic archives this size are hopeless to scroll, and following an artist you like is far more reliable than browsing New Updates. The description also mentions downloads, so you may be able to save releases for offline reading.

Scroll past the buttons and you hit a second block titled Porn Cartoon Comics, with its own little row of pill links: Home, All Comics, Artists and New Updates. It repeats what’s above, which is a bit redundant, but at least it means the shortcuts are never far away on a long page.

Speed and mobile

The page took a while to finish loading on my visit, longer than such a plain layout should need. Comic readers are image-heavy, so expect to wait a bit between pages on a slow connection. The big buttons and stacked layout work well on a phone, which suits a reading site.

Ads and privacy

Very light. No popups on load, and the only outside scripts were StatCounter and Cloudflare. There’s a partner link to a well-known porn directory in the lower menu, but that’s about it for promotions. No account needed to read.

Ninja’s verdict

ILikeComix is a no-frills, low-ad comics archive with clear navigation and a big claimed library. It won’t win any design awards, and I’d like to see more of the actual collection up front, but if you just want to search, tap and read without a pile of popups, it does the basic job well.
