A samurai and a disclaimer
Warez-DB greets you with the loudest banner I’ve seen in a while: two samurai clashing swords in front of a burning castle, with the logo in gold flames across the middle. Below that is a tidy row of icons (Browse, Movies, TV Shows, Games, Forums, RSS, TV Guide, VIP), then a scrolling strip of current movie posters. It’s a lot, but it looks deliberate rather than thrown together, and there’s a dark mode toggle in the corner if the light grey background hurts.
Then comes a pale yellow box titled ‘WAREZ-DB A GUARANTEE!’ promising one-click downloads, Click’n’Load support, ‘no registration, no downtime, no IP tracking’. Right under it is a status line admitting the database is still under construction, many categories will be thin or empty, and data loss is possible. Points for honesty. The same box calls it the number one warez site ‘in the UK’, which reads oddly next to the voting buttons for Raidrush and Nydus, two German toplists.
What’s actually on it
Despite the rebuild warning, the front page moves. ‘Latest Posts Online Today’ had entries minutes old: The Chosen S05 in 1080p BluRay x265 at 6.52 GB, a full DTS-HD remux of A Dark Song at 18.15 GB, Dark Souls Remastered-CODEX, and NCIS: New Orleans season 6. The weekly top 10 was a funny mix of Switch 2 games (Mario Kart World, Pokemon Pokopia) and a 542 GB pack of Days of our Lives, which is one way to spend a weekend. Further down are blocks for games, software, ebooks, magazines, music and video courses, plus an XXX category in the menu.
Every release shows a cover, IMDb-style score, size and language. The hosts I spotted were Rapidgator, Nitroflare, DDownload and Katfile, so expect the usual premium-or-wait routine. The genre menu is a strange merge of film and book categories (‘Antiques & Collectibles’, ‘Customs administration’ and ‘Conspiracy.’ sit next to Action and Horror), which suggests imported data that hasn’t been cleaned up yet.
Ads and that no-tracking promise
Ads were light. The main one is a Rapidgator premium banner, which on my visit offered unlimited speed for $14.99, and there’s a GTA 6 countdown nudging you to join their Telegram and Discord. No popups on load. However, ‘no IP tracking’ sits a little awkwardly with Google Analytics and Tag Manager both loading on the page. Not sinister, just not what the box says.
Speed
This is the weak spot. With over 600 images on the homepage it felt sluggish, and the poster strip took its time to settle. It works on a phone, but give it a moment.
My take
Warez-DB has decent bones: clean release info, good categories, a forum, requests and a chat. Right now it’s a site mid-move, with gaps it openly admits to. Worth a bookmark if you use DDL hosts anyway, but check that the category you need actually has content before you get attached.
